About Carl Pownall
Carl has been playing guitar for 35 years and teaching guitar and music for the last 20 years.
Whilst at college he studied with some world class musicians including Gary Boyle and Mike Walker. He has been in bands, recorded albums and toured around the UK and Europe.
Carl has performed on large stages, small stages and even under them in the orchestra pit
while working in theatre productions.
He has created soundtracks for dance shows and theatre productions including
a heavy metal Dracula adaptation.
Carl has qualifications in Popular Music and a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Music.
